Each year, cardiovascular associated with more deaths than all cancers and more deaths in women than breast cancer. Cardiovascular disease is known as the "silent killer" as it progresses over several decades. This is primarily due to atherosclerosis, the development of plaque within your arteries. Plaque development creates resistance inside your arteries which causes your heart to pump blood harder and harder in order to provide circulation for your body.
