The Difference between a Homeopath & Naturopathic Doctor

Homeopathy is a single form of Medicine that a Naturopathic Doctor may choose to use if it is indicated. Naturopathic Medicine is a broad-spectrum therapy that includes a variety of traditional and conventional treatments including acupuncture, nutritional counseling, pharmaceutical prescribing, spinal adjustments, intravenous injections, botanical medicine, targeted supplementation, etc.

Think of it as a tool box that one reaches into and uses the appropriate device for the given task at hand. Homeopathy is also a therapy Naturopathic Doctors may utilize in their practice but it does not define their practice. Homeopaths are not licensed physicians and Naturopathic Doctors are not Homeopaths.
