Thomas was born and raised in Düsseldorf, Germany. He was successful in the property business but the competition and pressure in this environment had an increasingly negative impact on his health. Meditation caught his attention and with an unwavering discipline, Thomas left the business world behind and dedicated fifteen years of full-time studies in Tibetan Philosophy and Meditation in India, under the direction and guidance of his teacher, his Holiness Lungtok Tenpai Nyima; the former spiritual leader of the Tibetan Bön Buddhist Tradition. Thomas has accomplished the Bardo, Tummo and Cholen spiritual practices and has taught meditation for a decade in Greater Vancouver Hospitals.
